Daniela Bueno is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and received her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University’s Family Institute. Daniela is a bilingual therapist in English and Spanish and is passionate about providing individual, family and group therapy services to children, adolescents, and families. Daniela has extensive experience working with individuals and families that face issues surrounding immigration & acculturation stressors, child sexual abuse, and grief & loss. Daniela practices a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strength-based approach to her work with clients. She believes in the importance of developing a collaborative relationship with her clients and understands that developing trust and safety are essential goals in the therapeutic process. In her work with children, adolescents, and adults Daniela uses varying forms of Expressive Art Therapies, as well as, CBT and DBT skills. Daniela seeks to help her clients build upon their strengths, and utilize skills learned in therapy to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Daniela cares deeply about her clients and their growth. She feels privileged in having the opportunity to support and accompany each client in their healing journey. In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending time with family, dancing, and going to her local Zumba class studio. She is a lover of dogs, especially Chihuahuas. Daniela’s pronouns are she/her.
