Rachel graduated with her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Marquette University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She has worked with youth who were involved in the juvenile justice system, along with their families and their care teams, and is passionate about trauma work in adults. She commonly practices both dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive therapy, as well as mindfulness and strength-based practices. Rachel prioritizes client-centered care, trauma-informed work, cultural humility, and a biopsychosocial approach. She is passionate about working together with clients as a team to reach their therapeutic goals. Rachel takes pride in her openness, sense of humor, and willingness to learn and adapt. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading (anything fantasy or mystery), trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. Rachel uses she/her pronouns.
