Tony is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in trauma-informed approaches, somatic therapies and motivational interviewing. He has been practicing for close to 10 years, providing support to clients of all ages. Tony has prior experience as a mental health clinician for youth in Chicago Public Schools and in residential treatment at Thresholds with older adults. Tony received his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and his bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Tony uses both traditional talk therapy and experiential approaches, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), to build a strong connection between the mind and body. He believes that creating a more holistic experience will help empower clients to generate internal change on their journey of self-discovery. Tony coordinates the EMDR treatment program for Trilogy, ensuring ideal client placement and professional training for clinicians.
