Charlene is a Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University. She is currently working toward her Licensure for Clinical Social Work in Illinois. Charlene possesses a multitude of experience and has been providing services within the mental health field over the last 13 years. While working with adults, teens, families, and adolescents in diverse populations such mental health hospitals, outpatient therapy services, adult, and youth residential, nursing homes, crisis outreach, and child welfare, Charlene has developed a deep compassion for providing individual and group psychotherapy for people of all backgrounds, orientations, and mental health difficulties. Charlene utilizes a trauma-informed & strength-based approach and is comfortable working with multiple frameworks depending on individual client needs. Charlene provides support to clients so they can be empowered to navigate and overcome any trauma or symptoms that impact their ability to reach their desired quality of life.
